Junior year for me has been by far the most stressful year of my life. The struggle with sports and school work I do is an excuse for me to procrastinate a lot. I've managed to stay on track in my classes this year so far and I am very proud of it. I have no time to socialize with friends as much as I used to during both my freshman and sophomore year. I plan on applying to several universities.
I will eventually apply to Santa Barbara or Fresno State my senior year. I truly believe that although junior year has been very difficult, overwhelming and far from what I expected, it has helped me stay on track and get my work done when needed. Motivation is extremely important for me, without it I don’t know where I’d be right now. I am well dedicated to sports: Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. I've been playing all three sports since my freshman year.
I remember last year during the first semester of my sophomore year I didn't make grades for basketball, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! It was procrastination at its finest. I was like a little mouse running around everywhere, ignoring everyone just to get my grades back up. By second semester I made grades but I felt like it wasn't the same because I had missed so much playing time… Now I motivate myself as well as my mother who will push me to do my work until the end. I strongly recommend that no matter how hard or how much the work is; don’t be afraid to ask for help. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Although my biggest fear is getting behind in my classes, I know if I over achieve in my work and get assignments done ahead of time, I will be fine.
One more thing, relationships are nice to have when two partners feel the same towards each other. People come and go, but if they truly love you regardless of anything they will stand by your side and support you. With the faith I have in the one and only God and the help of my friends and family anything can be possible if you have your mind set straight. God has many different journeys for us in life and majority of humanity is blind by the negative paths in life. Everyone struggles I understand, but we are our only person who will strive for what we really want when we want it. Let’s change the world for the better. Our generation can reroute paths and turn it into a better place for us and others. Earth is our home regardless, without it where would we be able to let our children play, sit and have family time, hang out with friends?? We must stop and think about this, we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the Lord creating earth. Humanity is killing OUR home, but we can always turn it into a loving home again by not using so much pollution in the air and decreasing population. By that meaning thinking before you do or speak.
